we went to watch a 2 piano performance at vch, twas...okay-good. rachmaninov saved the day! haha. basically the 2nd interval did, though it could be because we went there with expectations that were a bit too high. i kept getting flashing images of when katie and i were doing the exact same thing at the exact same place, 6years ago. (on a much smaller scale, of course.) it was a bit distracting. anyway after the liszt i looked at sher, who had such confusion written all over his face, and said "okay, what is it." "huh?" "you look like you had something to say." "well...it just isn't what i expected." "ah, ok."
there were 3 encores! not bad. i always like encores.

and joce and di, i'm willingly sacrificing sunday's perf for YOU TWO and settling for youtube, so please be nice to me when you see me (and mab).
